First of all, thanks to everyone who came out to our screenings at the NYTVF. We showed Man-Man, which was an official selection in the pilot competition, and The Stryker Files, which is now a prime time show on Channel 101 NY.

October 5th, 10pm. Octane Pistols of Fury will screen on MOS Outloud. Tune in, just like regular TV!

October 19th, 7pm. Catch some Sandwich of Terror episodes at An October Evening in Salt Lake City, UT!

Just a reminder about the New York Television Festival this week. Not only will Man-Man be screening, but so will our new action pilot "The Stryker Files" as part of Channel 101: NY.

Here's the schedule:

• Wed, Sept. 23 at 7pm - "The Stryker Files" at Channel 101: NY It's free but there's a $3.50 fee to make a reservation. Might be worth it since it guarantees a seat.

• Thurs, Sept. 24 at 7:30pm - Man-Man screening 1 (as part of an animation block of programming)

• Fri, Sept. 25 at 5pm - Man-Man screening 2 (as part of an animation block of programming)

All screenings are at the New World Stages Theater in NYC. Hope to see you there!

Brooklyn, NY - August 10, 2009 - Escape Pod Films is proud to announce that its animated pilot, Man-Man is an official selection in the 2009 New York Television Festival Independent Pilot Competition. Written and directed by Chris Prine and Tom Silvestro, the series tells the story of Population City's lousiest superhero: Man-Man.

The animated comedy features the voice talent of: Chris Prine, Will Hines, Matt Koff, Caitlin Norton, Lindsay Joy, and Jeremy Westphal. Illustrations are by Mike Herrod, with animation by Ed Mundy.

The full pilot will be screened at the NYTV Festival in New York City in September. The festival schedule has yet to be announced, so visit EscapePodFilms.com for screening times and more information.
