Tomorrow night, Wednesday, February 4th at Channel 101 NY: the finale of Scissor Cop, and the debut of our new show, Sandwich of Terror. We have a few other surprises in store. Also, our buddies at the Big Honkin' have been working hard on the finale of Defenders of Stan! Rory and Craig will have a pilot debuting as well! It's gonna be a jam packed evening! 10 great shows!Labels: channel 101, sandwich of terror, scissor cop
We had prepared to hang up the camera, to give up and resume our previous lives as moisture farmers... but then YouTube went and featured Scissor Cop Episode 4 on their front page! Thanks, Mr. YouTube!Labels: channel 101, scissor cop

It was really cold and windy that day, so for a few shots we tried to block the boom for sound (and cuddling) purposes.
Mitch Magee ("Mister Glasses") gets into character with the help of the greatest fake goatee...we could afford.
And finally, here's a pic of Benny and Chris in Verde's torture room. How's the Scissor Copper gonna get out of this one? Stay tuned...

We've posted Scissor Cop Kids, a little self spoof animated by our own Greg Erskine. It also includes a nod to our friend Mitch Magee's Mr Glasses.
Scissor Cop has been nominated for 5 different Channy Awards at the first Channel 101 NY Awards show!
There's some great competition, it's an honor to be nominated, yadda yadda, WE WANT TO WIN!
Anyway, we've been working on some of the pre-taped content for the awards show, which you'll later be able to see online.Labels: channel 101, scissor cop
Hello! Party like it's 2003: we finally got a blog! To kick things off I thought we'd do a little behind the scenes of the action packed Scissor Cop Episode 5!
We intially set our sights on using an alley way, but abandoned it (we had previously abandoned that poor little alley during episode 4, but finally used it in episode 6) after lucking out with a totally sweet warehouse.

For the car stunt we had 3 cameras, with 1 running at 60 fps for slow-mo. With some careful placement of actors, camera angles, and a wall of boxes, this stunt looks much more dangerous and spectacular than it actually is. That said, don't do stunts.
